Red Bug treatment question

I just bought a few frags that are in qt. I found one of them(hawkins enchinata) has red bugs. How do sensitive corals do with bayer insect treatment especially hawkins?

I recently used Dr. G's SPS and LPS coral dip. It worked great. A long dip of over 6 hours, I did 3 hours and kept basting and swishing and the stuff that came off these corals amazed me. Took care of my red bugs and flatworm that I never knew I had unitl dipped. I did rinse of in clean vats of fresh salt water. But I think it killed my peppermint shrimp, havent seen them since.

The smooth skins seem to be more sensitive. I also use the bayer, but do not dip smooth skin acros with it. I make a small batch of Interceptor dip, or QT them with interceptor treatments for a week.

When you quarantine, do you do the water change and add carbon in the qt for any period of time before adding the corals back to the DT?

I have a permanent setup just qting sps frags. I run carbon passively in a mesh bag.

Where do you get interceptor from they dont make it anymore? If so does your vet give you sentinel or do you get it for your dog and use it for your tank?

I use Interceptor Spectrum, I get that from my vet, but have also got it from Australia. I have yet to use any yet. The Dr. G's SPS & LPS dip worked great. After talking with Dr. G he told me that the main ingredient is Milbemycin Oxime, which has the same effect. He does not recommend in tank use. But the exposure in the dip is significantly longer than a quick dip. But like I said it works great.
