red bugs die, corals like it!

Ive been reading about red bugs and seeing that some reefers dont treat for them while others do. I have them in my tank. I have one frag in particular that seemed to have lots on it. every once in a while Id see a little red spec scurry across the coral and yes, these little bastards do move fairly quickly. So i got some interceptor and removed the frag and treated for 5 hrs in a small container. (I will treat the whole tank soon) the frag in question was a tricolor that was not very purple anymore. since I treated the difference is amazing!. The frag is a deep purple and the polyps a bright green. Bugs may not kill the corals but if you want them to look thier best and be happy, kill the bugs.

Good deal Poknsnok! I just got some interceptor and am about to treat my tank tomorrow. I just noticed I had them last week. My poor blue stag is covered with em. Hard tellin how long i've had em.

I took some pictures tonight to see what kind of difference this treatment makes. Ive got a couple corals that are not looking very colorful at all so I'm hoping this is what is going to make the difference. I've read that people have seen coloration improve a great deal and also growth..

I'm not getting/trading any more corals until I get my QT tank up and running. I'll post the pictures in another few weeks when I'm done with my treatment(s).

Chris
