Red bugs & salt

I was at a LFS tonight and relized that im 99% sure I was seeing red bugs. The owner doesnt have the best vision so really couldnt see them. He insisted that he didnt have red bugs and said he must be part of the corals skeleton, but I decided it was in my best interest not to buy any frags. Are there any other pods that may look like red bugs? What I was seeing was yellow dots with red on there head. Also how do red bugs affect acros? Do they eat them or what?
Also Im trying to figure out which salt to go with. I have it narrowed down to 2 so now I have to pick. Either D-D H2Ocean or Salinity by Seachem. Which one would you guys go with?
Thanks!

salinity. you can search for pics of redbugs and AEFW. It sounds more like a standard flatworm to me, was it on the coral itself or just in the tank?

Also does Tropic Marin seem to test were all the levels should be at 1.025? Also were does the alk set? And I havent got any PMs

He called and said today he seen what I was seeing and was going to treat all his acros. And I think I'm going to try d-d salt for now.

I used D-D for a year and was happy at the time, and then I was given a 200 gallon box of Reef crystals. I did not think much of Reef crystals, but the price was right. I have now seen better polyp extention any incredible colour change. For what it is worth I would save my money and go with reef crystals or instance ocean. Alot of the great tanks on reef central uses IO.JMO.

^^^^what mammoth said....dip in intercepter will kill the bugs. I too use DD and have been happy with it...although I have not tried any other brand yet. I still have 2 buckets to use up first.
