Red bugs survive low temperatures?

Hi everyone,
So after getting my reef tank fully stocked with sps frags and doing careful dips to prevent pests, I have noticed a few red bugs on my lime stag. I have been researching the last few hours and since the frags are mounted to the live rock it will have to be a in tank treatment with interceptor/dr g's. I wish I would have just treated the frags with dr g's instead of Coralrx before putting them in the tank, but now I have to assume the whole tank is affected.

Before I use this option, I have read a few posts about someone lowering the tank temperature to 70 degrees for 6 hours and red bugs were gone. Anyone try this option? If so, how were the fish and sps corals? I'm just against chemicals since my hands are always in the tank, but I also don't want to lose a couple hundred in corals. Thanks for any insight!

I didn't do the temperature fix for red bugs. I used dr.g's coral dip and used 20ml on my fusion 20 for 8 hours and red bugs are gone! I will do a second treatment in 7 days. Hope this helps someonel
