red bugs

Hey guys I have an easy question for you. I was given a frag with red bugs on it. I noticed it when I dipped it, so I tossed it in my 3 gallon tank (with no sps). The question is, assuming there are also eggs on this frag, how long does it take for them to hatch and I can dip it again to get rid of those bugs? And when will it be safe to put in my main tank?

I am not positive, but I think RB's dont lay eggs, I think they are live bearers.

Yes red bugs don't lay eggs latest I've heard so 1 dip using a product containing milbemycin oxide (interceptor or Sentinel) will kill all of them. AEFW do lay eggs though and dips don't take care of those.
