red bugs?

My mom put all her corals in my tank while she was hypo-saline treating her tank. Now after a long and arduous journey she is almost ready to take her things back. However, my tank has sprung out in a case of red bugs. How do we treat her corals so the bugs don't get transfered? And how do I treat my tank to get it back to it's former bug free self?

Frank, don't know if you still want the scroll, it is turning purple like the pic in my gallery. I think it looks cool, I have a frag that is still changing, looks funny with purple base color and yellow stripes.

emarie, as was alluded to, the dog heart-worm medicine Interceptor is what is used to treat red bugs. I don't have a link offhand for dosages, but it involves three 6-hour treatments.

Peppermint shrimps are doing well, 1/2 the aptasia gone already :D

Can you email me the # for the vet?

John, Yes, still would like it, purple is good :)

Interceptor treatment, in-system(6 hours), in QT, no time limit, no water change. Let it accumilate.
