carpet anemones are labeled aggressive because they have a tendency to eat fish. A healthy tang would first of all know not to go near it and second will be able to get away. carpets are more known to eat smaller fish like wrasses/gobies/dragonettes/anthias/firefish...so on.
Just know that the anemone can eat some fish and know that if it does that's either from the misfortune of the fish or it was sick anyways.
Haddoni carpet will eat fish, any fish, large or small can be easy prey to them. Aquariums are too small, even the largest of home aquarium for most fish to keep away from Carpet anemone for ever. I recommend that carpet to be keep in a species tank or only with fish that you will not devastate you if it get eaten.
not haddoni, just a regular red carpet, i really want to get one... but i dont want one if it will eat a fish a month.
Anybody has one and any good stories?
Like Minh has stated, S. haddoni's (which red carpets are) will eat fish, sick or not.
With that said, you can minimize the risk with a large tank, which yours seems to be at 500g, and having an aggressive pair of clowns being hosted by it. But that is by no means a guarantee your fish will not be eaten anyway.
EDIT: Yes, all red carpets are haddoni's, and yes that one at RHS is a S. haddoni.
Not to highjack the thread or anything, but I recently found this picture on the web, and though it is hard to tell without seeing the base, it looks like it might actually be a red S. gigantea (first I have ever seen):
