Red Coris Wrasse

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a Red Coris Wrasse that isn't so red. I went to a LFS and picked out this wrasse that they had in a tank with some Picasso Clowns and I didn't really pay attention to the name I just asked them if its temperament was peaceful and stuff like that, so when I went to look it up I couldn't find it at all. The closest thing I found was the Red Coris Wrasse which was more of a red-orange color with white stripes. Mine is pretty similar, but it has a really thick black outline, the center area of the body it more of a dark orange with a black tint, with one complete white strip and two incomplete which also have a thick black outline. I just want to know if he is in-fact a Red Coris Wrasse with just a rather unusual coloration. The LFS did say they only hand-select the best fish when selecting stock for shipment.
I've included a photo of him/her. Sorry for the quality and nasty algae, it wouldn't stop moving for even a second and I had a really nasty algae bloom...
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi
You've got a Coris formosa juvenile. Similar to C. gaimard and C. cuvieri.
I only have experience with the red coris, but would expect C. formosa to behave the same way, i.e., it will flip rocks and corals over in search for food. Otherwise, a great fish.
Good luck with this beauty :)

That little guy will get BIG and destructive with time, he also will loose all the coloration it currently has

Thanks to everyone for the replies!

Thanks for helping me figure out what this guy is! :D
He won't harm anything in my tank, really, because he's in my fish only tank, all of the corals are artificial.

Yeah, he does throw sand all over the place, but he hasn't had much luck moving anything else because he's still little. I'll probably have to re-home him when he gets a bit bigger.

^ yup (to both posts)

Reaches 2 feet in length at maturity.

Oh wow, 2 feet really! I'm definitely going to have to re-home him then
