Red Dragon Frags

Hahahaha well good thing you made a thread for the Red dragon... hope everything goes well as you have a CRAZY colorful and healthy tank.

Thanks Brian for not taking my comments too serious. I aplaud the way you handle the comments, I think far too often people get worked up on these forums about really petty stuff in the game of life really.

We all have to make our own opinons and choices......and than we come on here to share them. Please dont think I was knocking you personally. I respect your choice to buy a coral that personaly I think is priced too high and you respect my opinion.....no biggy.

(to the other guy)-- I did have and probably still do have the option to buy RD or FFF frags for less than what you guys in the US are paying .....after all the coral orignated in my local area.

I think anyone of us here could spend 250 if we wanted to. I do not think that
is the reason for posting.. as in jealousy.

There is nothing wrong with posting about a new coral you get. That is one of
the main reasons I come here. To see what people are up to.

I just think that the OP was not sharing at this point and was looking for opinions
on pricing versus is it worth it for a frag. It would be rude to jump into a thread about
a coral that a user just put in their tank and say WOW IS THAT OVERPRICED!
So everyone's comments, in my opinion, were on topic since this thread was
about pricing for a frag... Plus the OP did not even buy one of the pictured
frags and got it from somewhere else for less...

and as for not enough red dragon acro posts.. just do a search and see that
it gets plenty of discussion time in the last 6 months.. probably one of the most
discussed corals in the last 6 months.

I will just end my post saying that one can learn a lot reading past red dragon
threads... if you know what i mean.

I understand and appreciate your input. There are many other reefers more experienced and knowledgeable than me. I didnt know there were many threads on this for the past 6 months and therefore didnt understand the "flavor of the week" meaning. I was regretting showing the price since I thought it wasn't neccessary. As much as I hate to admit it, I get caught up in the name game as well. But the main reason for me to spend so much is because this frag has serious potential for me and I wanted my friends to have an opportunity to get frags for much cheaper.

Agreed - I received my frag for free (essentially). Trading - a nice way to improve your collection without assigning prices to things.

threads like these don't just hype up a coral but it also brings to our awareness, sellers renaming a coral to jack up its price. Respecting others opinions goes a long way
 
You will gain more in great trades with frags off that one than the money you spend on it if it is a desired piece - the gift that keeps on givin'
 
any current shots of this coral under regular lighting so we can see what it really looks like? The actinic lights seems to mask the true colors...
