Red Hair Algae on Zoo Frags

I have a couple of Zoo frags I got from the swap that have Red Hair algae on them. Are their any natural predators that will eat this stuff? Tangs? Specific Hermit Crabs?

What is the difference? I was thinking I may have some raid hair algae, the green hair algae I had disappeared. But looking at the red more it pulls apart more like cotton candy.

It's located on one of the corals. For now I pulled the loose fibers off, I did not want to disturb the coral. What are my options to remove this and to discourage growth in other areas of the tank.

The cotton candy stuff is cleared up really quickly by Mexican Turbo Snails. I had a bad infestation of that crap and the snails tore through it in no time.

I don't know if they will eat the red hair stuff though. Might be worth the $3.99 or whatever they are. I found mine at Aquatic Technology.
Let us know if it works for you.

Most Tangs will tear into any red algae. If not that a rabbit fish will and has the added benefit of eating dictyota which will take over a tank as not much will eat it. They will get big but not so big that you can't keep them for quite a while in your 70g.
