Red Knot gorgonia problem...

I have red knot gorgonia about 2 months but some algue attack my gorgonia some branches of gorgonia start cover by algue.
How fight against such algue?

Diodogorgia nodulifera? Can you post photo?
What you may try: check phosphates and reduce them by phosphate removers, wash the coral by blast from powerhead or gently rub the branches by fingers. Move it in higher flow area, but polyps shouldn't bend significantly, only tentacles. Orient it as a net across the flow.

Might try shorter "day" at the same time as reducing phosphates. What else is in the tank?

I had similar problems with a purple gorgonian. I put it in an area of higher flow and everything seemed to improve.
