Red Margin Fairy Wrasse

My Red Margin Fairy Wrasse will not come out of the rockwork. He was doing fine for two weeks, swimming around and everything, now I can just see is eyes in the Live rock. He wont even come out to eat!

Other fish are: Pair of O. Clowns, Firefish, Blennies, Lyretail Anthias (two are changing to male), and a Exquisite Wrasse.

Could it be that the Lyretail's are changing sex and scaring him???

Please Help!

I don't know too much about this wrasse, like if it's cryptic or not. I'm guessing not. Have you noticed the anthias bullying each other and swimming quickly in the tank? Maybe too much movement with them changing. Also, has any other fish been picking on him? Try using a garlic supplement in your frozen food with selcon. That combo even brings my possum wrasse out from the rocks to eat.

Lot of movement in the tank with the Anthias. But no one is picking on him, he is the big fish of the tank. Tank is a 90G.

Now I am feeding using Zoe and Zoecon but will try the Garlic and Selcon.

Thanks,

Dallas

I use all three actually. Kent Zoe, Selcon, and Garlic. Is he doing any better?

He is! Tank settled down with one of the Anthias giving in to the more dominate one... Wrasse is out a lot more and eating great. I started using the Selcon and I think that has helped as well.

Thanks
