Its hard for me to say what exactly happened to this monti as a friend gave it to me after he accidentally broke this piece off rearranging his rock. The rest of his piece looks similar but he doesn't think anything changed in his tank.
As you can see its whiter than it should be. I've had it 2 weeks now and its not getting worse. I checked it for any nuisance bugs or eggs and didn't see anything. Any ideas is its going to be an issue or will the tissue begin to grow back?
