I have the best boyfriend : ) I have been wanting a purple LTA and he got it for me yesterday along with dinner and a dozen red roses. Here's my new addition.

Amanda that is awesomely looking and healthy LTA, getting one that color and that healthy is very rare as LTA usually comes to our homes with a hole in their foot and with that they can never burry themself in the sand and eventually die......

yours looks all settled in already......

He actually got it at the local fish store. They had several in a bare bottom tank since last week, all appeared healthy. I was able to inspect the foot and mouth before purchasing. It has only been in the tank since last night, settled in right where I placed it. I'm a happy gal right now. I can't stop looking at it.

Yes I have a special pair of Black Clarkii Clowns with a touch of bright orange. They're still in quarantine for now.

Are these easy to keep and do they crawl into power heads like the bubble tip anemones or do they mostly stay in the sand?

They prefer to bury their foot into 3 or more inches of sand and/or wedge it between a rock or two on the bottom of the tank. If they move either for different lighting or flow they will typically stay down low.

It's doing very well. It hasn't moved from where I put it so I guess I chose a good spot. It stays inflated and eats : )

I love this anemone, even more than my BTAs!

Now I'm looking for some nice yellow leathers to complement the purple. I love combining complementary colors. Can you tell I used to garden? ; )
