With my raised hood I run the Aqua C Remora hang on & am very happy with it. The MJ1200 does fit in the compartment easily. No tuning, no air valve to mess with - plug & play (skim).

Is anyone here going skimmerless? I've read and heard that as long as you are not keeping alot (or any) sps that the LPS, Softies, Zoas, etc. prefer "dirtier" water as opposed to skimmed water. Anyone hear this also?
I was actually thinking about removing the skimmer and modding some type of refuge back there. That is of course a long time from now as the tank just got set up, has water, (no leaks!!! yea!!) and sand in it. started the cycle this morning with shrimp.
If i can ge the wife to send some pics, I'll get em posted. =)

hi again guy's. i was wondering how you go about to post pictures, i wanna show you my tank. it is kinda altered due to chemical warfare but is know stable.
only reason i ask is because i have tried and failed and also nobody has described the process to me.
