Hi everyone,
so I have been trying LEDs on the Red Sea Max s650 since ive had it. I dont think they are anything high end, they are called Intelligent LED. I havent had great success at all with them looking back, and part of a purple algae outbreak I consistently cant get rid of im putting down to lighting along with other areas im addressing.
In truth I never tried the Red Sea Max original T5's that came with the tank. And before I shell out a couple of hundred dollars on new ACI bulbs, and setting it up, I just wonder if anyone else had them, were they happy with them? And im wondering if I should go back to the T5, or go with a new light, all LED or even a hybrid LED/T5, but, they wont come cheap for a 60" long tank, maybe $1500-2000.
Any help would be appreciated.
