Thanks. I love the sump. Works great and makes managing the tank pretty simple. Skimming, water changes and auto top off all taken care of from the sump. Plus the macro and tons of life is pretty cool too. I like to just lay there and stare in the fuge. I always find new things crawling around.

I'd say about 4 inches. It's one bag of live sand.
