I have a red sea ozone plus 200, and i think the probe has stooped working its reading high when there is no ozone in the tank also it reads allot higher than i ever set read. and even when the balls were balls where white it still read high. so where do i find the best new probe fore the ozone, thx.

I'm using the Pinpoint ORP probe attached to some different brand meters, but I'd suggest first cleaning yours and then recalibrate if necessary. It may be fine.

Try soaking it in acid (straight vinegar or diluted muriatic acid) overnight and see what that does for you. :)

The probs will constantly read higher as time goes on a real PITA. Vinegar works to clean them but you will be doing this weekly.
I gave up on using a ozone controller and dose just enough 24/7 to keep the water clear.

I have mine in a dark sump as well (there is live rock in the sump). Last month I cleaned the prob in vinegar put it back and 2 days later it read an ORP of 335, about 4 weeks later it now reads 441. I just gave the prob a 5 minute vinegar soak rinsed and now it reads 270. This seems to be a huge swing as nothing has changed.

Is this common, a friend has the same problem with inconsistant ORP readings? Do you think its a bad probe?
