most slime algae is actually photosynthetic bacteria. There are not many fish or inverts that will eat it. Better idea is to correct the water quality problems leading to their existence. Maybe high phosphates?
Ok. Thanks for taking the time to help. I am having a problem with phosphates. Its a new tank setup. I will try some type of phosphate remover. I can't blame the fish and inverts for not eating it, I wouldn't either.
