Red Slime Remover....

I finally had enough! I tried all the normal remedies to no evail. I finally used the red slime remover 2 days ago and it has worked fantastic! None of my livestock are having any issues. Corals are wide open(SPS, LPS, and Softies), my Maxima looks just as good as ever, and my fish are happy too. Red slime is 90% gone.

Heres my question: I had to shut off my protein skimmer when I added the treatment. It went nuts with foam and I couldn't dial it in. How long until it will start acting properly again(Not almost blowing the top off with foam)?

Skimmer is an AquaC EV180 with a mag7.

Mine was back to normal in 3-4days I think. Its been a long time since I used it though. But I think thats about how long.

Mine went nuts when I used it as well. When i have issues with algae or cyano I try to do a 10% water change out every 3-4 days.

I do a 10% water change weekly on a regular basis. My only issue is the cyano. I have no issues with green hair algae or anything else. I have fresh lights, tons of flow, and top off with 0 TDI RO/DI water. I have a feeling that the cyano came from some liverock I purchased and I am hoping that this treatment will get rid of it once and for all. I am due for my weekly water change tomorrow so I will do a 15% instead of the usual 10% until my skimmer is back to normal.

Run carbon to get to get rest of red slime remover out. Then skimmer should calm down.
