Personally, I would not treat it at all. I would siphon it out and do a water change. Possibly you have a flow issue. Also are you dosing aminos or anything that causes cyano breakouts?

curently i have i koralia nano 425 but im adding a tunze nanostream 6025 in a few days. i dose bright wells coral amino every week. that could be the culprit.

1+ with primetime. When I first started a tank, flow was a major problem, as well nitrates and overfeeding (aminos). I tried the chemiclean, but things kept coming back until I changed things in the tank. You can blow the stuff off the zoas as you are trying to get the parameters under control. Also, I thought the chemiclean hurt my "pods" when I tried it.

flow will mos definitely be upped when the tunze is added. hope fully that will help and i'll cut down feeding a bit.

thanks guys

just an update..

chemiclean did the trick. no more cyano(red slime) on any of my frags. as soon as the cyano was gone the polyps started to open again..

thanks guys.
