red slime

Ok so ive been battling red slime for quite a while now. Ive done evrythin possible, trust me... so my question is what do u think of adding red slime remover in an sps tank? Its my last option... thanx

How old is the tank, less than a year? What all have you tried, might be something you missed? What about cerith snail?

I've done it with no problems. I ended up useing twice the doesage, to get rid of it.

Adding red slime remover to SPS tank is fine. Ive had to do it once or twice. No ill affects noted.

To start the tank is going to be a year old in 2 months... ive done water changes, changed my di resin, stopped dosing, added gfo, cut feeding, lights out. N thats all i can think of as of right now..
I havent tried cerith snail.. do they actually eat it?

IMO, ceriths are ok. What about the flow in the area? Bet it is on the lower end in your tank. How old are the bulbs? How is the water testing, specificly the Nitrate and phosphate? Even at a year, the tank is still young. I shy away from putting chemicals in my tank that are either erythromycin (an antibacterial, how ironic, right?), or undisclosed chemicals that the company will not tell you anything about. Wait it out. Increase the flow, add some Ceriths...
