So I've been hearing people saying this is a myth but to prove this belief wrong, here is physical proof. I'm currently making a time lapse of the process. Will follow up later. Enjoy

What is the myth exactly?

Also that species of star is Echinaster echinophorus.. as they age they will become more predatory to anything they can catch, including other stars. The only species we're really debating diet wise is Linckia, as many claim and post photo/video evidence of them eating the stars however it's not a confirmed regular diet by any research documents.

I'm just talking about this so called rumor I've heard in the past year or so that there isn't any starfish known that eats them. I guess that's been proven wrong well before. Just thought I'd share the pic. Thanks for the info though on what really is the Linckia that is the suspicious star that eats nuisance stars. If it does. Anyways, I appreciate the feedback.
