I've had this red stripe anthias for a few years and he's full grown. I've been trying to introduce other fish into the aquarium but he pesters them till they die. He is my only top swimming fish everyone else stays to rock or coral closer to the bottom of the tank. I have 2 mandarins, 2 clowns, 2 small azure damsels, 1 bicolor pseudo, 1 fire shrimp, 1 cleaner shrimp, and one yellow clown goby. Any suggestions on what else I could add that will be left alone and swim out in the open towards the top of the tank.

My tank is an innovative marine fusion lagoon 50

That's a big species for that size tank, I'm not sure what you could add, since you wouldn't want to go more aggressive and/or bigger. Maybe consider replacing him with some more appropriately size anthias for the tank?

I agree with you 100% but I was misinformed when I bought the fish and there wasn't much info to go on online. About a week ago I tried to catch him and I hurt the poor guy, I cut his head open in the process and his one gill got stuck in the net so I released him. Also no one wants to take this guy, he's a beast roughly 7 inches and extremely aggressive to newcomers in his tank. I feel bad just offloading him when I raised him from a small 2 inches.
