Here are pictures for both, the changing imp is in a 100g tub for qt. The med juvy I just acclimated and ready to take home and be placed in QT. The larger one is 6" and is the largest juvenile/changing I have ever seen.
The juvenile is interesting. I have seen lots of shipments from Red Sea arrive in LAX over the years, and a juvenile Imperator from the Red Sea is something I have been looking for and never seen one. And even the changing imperators are pretty large fish and usually mostly changed.
If these truly came from the Red Sea they are unusual.
On the Imp Changing a sad report, up to day 14 in QT eating like a champ. Day 15 it had a hard time staying upright, by the end of 15 it perished. I am not sure what happened? The smaller one is doing great in another QT tank, it has a little white stuff on its fins from damage while in transit.
Yep. Lately there have been a lot of shipments coming in. I just got a male and female 8 line flasher wrasse for $30 each. The male is stunning, they are in my qt. I hope they make it. Apparently the wholesalers had a few females.
