Thanks zombiedust,
All in all, I love the sleek looks of both tanks, but I think my do-it-yourself cube is a better option as far as specs, but not looks.
Oceanic Cube 33g
Aquafuge refugium with chaeto
Aquafuge light
Eheim canister filter with rubble
Remora regular skimmer
Current USA 150w HQI Sunpod
(Also have a Current USA Sattelite Power Compact -- took off as it blocked access to the tank surface)
Tsunami wavemaker with single Maxi 1200 (Replaced RedSea Wavemaker, always like to try new things)
60 lbs live rock
30 lbs sand bed
I may try the RedSea or JBJ, leaning toward the RedSea as I love the polished cabinet / stand look and I hear quality is excellent. Have Googled for hobby reviews of the RedSea, don't care much about the professional reviews. I want to see one in action with complicated corals. I want to hear how that skimmer really works and if it is possible to add a Aquafuge to the back. As for lighting, yes I prefer MH, but power compact is not so bad. MarineDepot has the RedSea, has anyone placed an order?
