redslime pads?

hey guys i remember someone posting a thread about using something like a pad(?) to remove redslime......what is it called? and where can i purchase it?......my redslime is starting to get all over the place....siphoning them out only lasts a few days.....thanks peeps!

The pads are called pura filtration pads. I know you can get them at Fins in Franklin. AC or emerald bay may carry them as well. Jfolley67 gave out the tip, and since then several people have used them to great success.

I bought one of thes at Fins sat (I think I may have gotten the last one they had)
How fast should these work I put t in sat and have seen no ruduction in red slime.

we put these in and sucked out the red slime that pre-existed at the time....and about 3 days later, nothing else ever started up and the red slime never appeared again.....suck out all the slime that is there now.....and hopefully like others nothing else has returned. good luck...
