Reef Aquarium 1350 gallons in Bucharest

Bangkok again

Bangkok again

I got for the second time in Bangkok to steal a little experience from my friend Chingchai. Probably he went to sleep now so tomorrow will be ready for the "How to keep the best reef tank'' classes. So far I'm his only student to participate.
Because here is night allready and in Romania not, I will try to catch up a little bit answering your questions and also thanking you for the time you have spend following my thread. Sorry again for delays.

Andy

Andy, I have been thinking of you a lot lately with the one year anniversary since the last MACNA. I hope you are just busy having fun and not working too hard.

Peter

Hi Peter, I have been thinking of you too but didn't get the chance to visit you so far. As I said before your company and friendship is very valuable to me, therefore I will do my best to visit you and also to join you for MACNA, of course if you don't mind.

Right now I'm in Bangkok and I wish you and Mr. Wilson would have been here too. Chingchai is a great friend and also a great host.

Hope to see you soon

Enjoy summer school

Thank you Shawn!
What can I do if I like school that much! :artist:

Don't be upset, Saturday I will be in Egypt and I'm inviting you too for some diving and fishing, not the least mermaid finding. :wildone: :D

There is still time!

Andy

That is one very healthy looking Moorish idol Andy, how long have you had it for? The tank is looking great!

Thank you so much! Please excuse me but I didn't have the necessary time to follow up your complete thread, but I will.

The Moorish Idol came from Indonesia about 1.5 years ago and is in perfect condition also eating any food.

Andy,

I truly appreciate people such as yourself, Peter, Chingchai and D2mini. You guys set the bar for well designed setups in well appointed surroundings. It gives me inspiration to not only upgrade but to make the home surrounding the system compliment it. Each of you have focused on the details that make the system more than just another aquarium. Im my mind that is what a true enthusiast is. Cheers to you. Thanks for sharing your passion with all of us.

Scott

Scott thank you so much!

I'm sure that your words are well appreciated by all the people you have mentioned and not the least by the entire REEF CENTRAL community.

Andy thanks a lot for the up date. Your eye for perfection is incredible you have built a wounder. In the pictures on the bottom just about in the middle of the tank there is what appears to me to be a black pot with a hose coming out of it,would you mind telling me what it is? Thanks

That is an Aqua Medic pump that I used to break the dead cyanobacteria from the surface. I will take it out soon.

Thank you for the nice words.

Next time give me a call. I will take you on a private tour. :wildone:

Andy. It is a real pleasure to see you again.
Also I have to thank you for bringing me the wonderful gift and good red wine.
No, I am not good enough to be your teacher. I can just share experience with you.

Simply stunning Andy! A work of art is an understatement.
I'm sure your trip to Bangkok to see Ching Chai's tank was very exciting and awe inspiring as well:)

keep up the good work Andy. When I get out to Romania in the near future I hope to see it in person! keep up the beautiful tank.

Mate you are an absolute inspiration. I hope one day i'll be able to afford a house and tank half as beautiful as yours!

Hallo again

Hallo again

Got back from Bangkok (Chingchai has a wonderful tank) and also from Egypt where I was diving and fishing. Not much catch.

Tommorow I will go to MACNA in Des Moines, Iowa to see my friend Peter(Nineball) because we haven't seen each other since last MACNA.
Also, maybe I will get the chance to see his beautiful tank and setup.

It's been two weeks already since I add 100 Sps corals to my tank. Most of them are in good condition and colour. If everything will be OK in the comming month I will add another 150 pcs.

Here are some pictures:

hey andy, do you mind taking some pictures of the sump and equipment running and keeping this machine going.

also, do you mind taking a few shots of your tank up close. (i am wanting to do some of the same cement and rock work, so i wanted to see how it looks currently with some new corals on it. plus, with lights.

THanks.
(sorry if it sounds demanding for pictures... but your tank is sweet from my computer in Texas. haha)

Andy your coral is fantastic.....the colour is awesome. You take care on the drive from Detroit to Des Moines.......it's a long drive...

I'm looking forward to Iowa. I can't believe you got coral that size.....your tank is looking great.

Peter
