What can I say. Wow. Great to do business with. I went to a LFS and got 10 turbo snails for 1.50/ea. I knew at that price I'd be out of cash before I was out of algae for my Clean up Crew!
I had heard several positive things of Reef Cleaners, so I decided to take the plunge. I'm usually weary of buying livestock online - never done coral. Have done fish with Live Aquaria before, and have experienced DoA's. I figured with snails my chances would be pretty good on having survivals. I've done malaysian trumpet snails for freshwater shipped before, but never any marine snails.
Order placed, and it shipped out on Tuesday. I received an email with a USPS tracking number. I offered to have the signing requirement waived (which also would I guess waive my live arrival guarantee). I ended up being home anyway for the shipment today, and I temp acclimated them in the bag. I set them free.
Immediately they began to crawl out. I got nearly 150 snails for 45 dollars shipped. While I love the local fish stores around here, nothing is going to beat the deal I received and the quality of the livestock delivered at Reef Cleaners. I will be doing my business for each new tank there, no doubt. Even having waived my guarantee by declining to sign, all livestock were in A+ shape. I couldn't ask for more. Cheap, simple, easy. My new 72 bowfront and the diatom bloom thank you!!!
Just wanted to share my positive experience. Thanks John at Reef Cleaners.
