Reef Club in Marin County

Hi,

I am new to salt water tank keeping and looking for seasoned experts to learn from in Marin County.

Are there any members in the San Rafael area that are open to setting up a "reef club" ?

I'm part of wcr also but was wondering, Which fish store do you tend to go to due to your location? As for WCR great little club ranging from 16-25 members (25 if everyone showed up). We pretty much have members scattered coming from SF, Fairfield, concord and various pockets in Sonoma county.

Dragonvale- I'd love to come and check it out some time. Always good to meet other people who are into the hobby. As far as shops go, I usually make the drive to Aquatic Collection, Baja Reef, California Coral Co, and sometimes out to Aquarium Concepts.

Oops - have experienced many ups and downs with my tank(s) - moved from 36G to 67G ... got a mass fish massacre ; got a guy to help me out every two weeks and getting a bigger stand and sump in anticipation of my tank upgrade to 120G ... all this without actually logging into RC and thus missing these replies.

I would still like to "join" WCR and subject myself to any initiation rituals

When are you guys meeting again?

Guess I missed the March meeting ... been doing a lot of "guest" research - missing the messages / replies to the thread. Still learning every day on the whole reefing thing. When is the next meeting?
