Yes...you definitely don't need/want nearly that much light in a 30 - especially with softies.

Bonnie, how many watts lighting you sugguest? I am using a 70W MH, looks like it is not enough when the Zoa at the bottom.

How tall is the tank? I would think 150w would be enough for zoas, but you might even be able to just move the zoas up higher under the 70w. Feel free to send me a PM so we don't hijack the thread further.
