Reef Lobsters

Hi all!

Bought a reef lobster on the weekend and it's gone behind all the rocks in the tank. The problem is that I haven't seen him since I put him in. Is this normal, I thought he would've at least made a small appearance by now. Cheers

You'll probably never see him. I believe they are noctournal anyways. So nightime with a red flashlight you might be able to catch a glimpse or two.

I've had one for about 2 months, I have only seen it twice. Thought is was dead for the first month until I seen a molt from it. Don't plan on ever seeing it unless you can find out where it hides, almost impossible though.

they aren't very people friendly, they really like to hide. If you want an invert you can see alot, get a cleaner shrimp.
