reef meet canceled

Just in case people were not reading the posts.

I have decided to cancel the meet due to an AEFW (Acropora eating flat worm) outbreak in the 220.

Will be treating corals and combating the problem for a while. I really hope that nobody received any of this plague from frags or corals they have gotten from me. I do not think this is likely as I have not parted with any acros for a while that I can remember.

:sad1: sorry to here Jorge, Was looking forward to hanging out this weekend. Keep us posted on how you go about the battle and what steps you take. Whenever things are under controll, I will have some frags waiting for you.
I am ordering a frag tank this week to start the battle with pyramid snail. The bad part is I will not get the tank till the 19th of June, so all I can do for now is to keep checking the clams every other day and hope for the best.

I appreciate the offer for the frags and I will try to do a meet when I have things under control. Good luck with the clams, I do like clams and have 4 myself and keep on wanting to add more, but space limits us. I do still have a lot of other nice stuff in the tank and the 90 has some nice colonies holding strong.

With any luck I will save the nicer ORA stuff still in the tank, I mostly lost a bunch of millis and do not have a whole lot more to lose as far as acros go in that tank. So if I can save the nicer pieces it will not be a total loss as long as these worms do not start eating other stuff. I think the plan for the weekend will be to kick back, relax, have a few drinks and evaluate what I plan on doing.

Any update on what your plans are on battleing the AEFW's? Hope all is going well. I am still holding a few frags for you whenever things are under controll.

thanks for the offer but I am kind of keeping my systems in quarantine from others for a while and trying to eliminate the AEFW plague before I add any new acros to the system
