reef meetings

I sure am interested in some form of club meetings. The informal meetings we had last summer were fun and I enjoyed them. I'm also cool w/ a formal meeting&minutes.. I'll have to press my tux or at the very least my tux t-shirt

I am relatively new to saltwater also and would like to get together with other reefers to exchange ideas, frag and equipments swap, get togethers, etc. But it seems like there is no one in the area that wants to do this due to all of the bickering that has plagued the various reef club of Albuquerque. I would love to host but house if not very big, would be kinda cramped. I have a 20 ga currently going and am working on a 55 g reef. But you always like to have peoples opinions on what works and what doesn't. hey xmenx am down to get together to trade coral and exchange ideas or watever related to reef. just a few days ago i sold a local reefer my t5 lights. when they came by to pick them up they saw my reef and admire my tank so much that they plan to tear down their 3years old 125g reef tank for rearrangement. i volunteer to help them out and they trust me enough to let me tear their whole tank down and leave all the rearranging decision to me. i spent literally 8hrs of free labor to rearrange their tank and love to see their impressive expression on their face!!anyway lets make this hobby fun and affordable to save the reef!! anyone disagree??

Ditto, I have never been to a meeting of any kind, but I have years into this hobby and would like to offer help to anyone that needs it. Count me in.
Yeah if anyone is running a neptune control system I could sure use a little help getting started. Its been in the box and I've finally opened after eight months of having it. I had all of the stuff out on the table reading the instruction manuals when my youngest son walked by and knocked the ORP on the floor. *Crack...* S$*% Other than that i'm off to a good start! HA HA . If anyone out there would like to get a little dialogue going on this I would appreciate it. It's juat a neptune Jr. nothing crazy. I alos bought the direct connect 8. I have the lunar moduel ordered and on the way.

I wish I could help you with this but I have never used any controller (except ph for the cal reactor) Someone will chime in Im sure.
I live in the far north east heights. The end of Lomas above Tramway in Embudito Hills neightborhood. I'm having surgery on my wrist on Monday unfortunately. I'd be down to have you both over for a frosty beverage (beer) at my house to check out my setup sometime soon. You'll have to give me a few weeks to get back on my feet. My wife is going to have to maintain my tank for a while. Last time i had surgery my whole tank crashed and most of my corals bleached out. Its taken me a trip to Hawaii to get inspired again.

I'm staying in Los Lunas right now until my wife and I find a house. Seesick I know how it is when the wife takes over I went on vacation and lost a good portion of my tank, but I cant blame her I some how flipped the MH timer off before I left, and for 7 days my tank only had VHO's I lost all my clams 
. She looks at the tank each day but didnt even realize only half the lights were on. If she needs some help while your down I could help out.

thats cool, i live right next to that new nuclear museum on eubank and southern. dang thats sucks, i recently just got baack from my vacation too, also had a few die off but no biggie though, i'll bring you some frag too for your tank if you dont mind. hope you have a fast recovery from your surgery too!!
The Surgery was a success! Although still wrestling with this neptune Jr. If you could help me puffin that would be great! I've been able to modify the program states, but it just seems aniquated and unorthodox. I was wondering if you know anything about aqua notes (software that communicates with Neptune)? I downloaded the trial version, but can't seem to get my Neptune to communicate with the laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Neptune has a 9 pin connector for which I bought a USB adaptor for. This may be my problem; I don't know. Any ideas?
