Anyways hope all is good in the 505, maryland is nice, but is lacking on the reef stuff. I still dont have a system set up.....

Hey all, new to the area (from Florida!), would absolutely be down to get together with you guys. Glad I finally found some semblance of a reef club out here! I live in an apartment, though I would be willing to host a meeting or two if it would help.

Anyways, I'd love to help get the ball rolling, should we put together an email list to announce/plan get-togethers or meetings? Can we just use this site? Let me know what I can do to help!

i'm down to have meetings, though i've never been a member of a reef club before, so i don't know how to organize one. I mean, I could get people to agree on a time and place to meet, but I wouldn't know how to drive the conversation and discussion once we all got there

I'm tempted to go to other reef club forums and see what they do, to try and get something kicked off. Anyways, I'm definitely down to get together and share knowledge, experience, stories, corals, etc... There seems to be decent interest on this forum, it doesn't have to be a huge turnout. I just need to figure out how to not bore everyone, and then I'd be happy to help organize!

We meet up swapped frags and talked about D.I.Y. reactors and controller/monitoring systems. Had a Few beers, fun for all included. We missed the peeps that could not make it

I think like a online cal we can subscribe to would work best like google cal (caldev) to publish the meets...if it's not on my ical i don't know about it lol

trying to constantly check the boards saps much time devoted to other work related tasks lol

I'm going to be moving out that way in the next few months and i would be down to come to a meeting bring some Beverages and buy a few frags ..i have been working on a rimless 30 gallon and 20 gal. refugium/sump . but know i have to put on pause cause of move but hopefully in bout 3 months here when i get out there i will have it up and running. right away ... also if your all willin that we could all go in on ordering inverts. so that its cheaper i deffintly will be having to buy new inverts. when i move there is a few places that me and a lil informal club that im with have bought things from with great results...

whats happin everyone ? ok i wont be able to make tha meeting i wont be moving out there till end of july to early august .. but after that i will be able to come to the meetings and possiblly set up one at my place with in a month or so after i move out there .

What does everybody think about having the meeting the last weekend in May or the first weekend in June. We can have it at my house, as long as you promise not to make fun of my tank. My fish are very sensitive and already have to deal with my husbandry or lack there of J/K.
