Well I bought this skimmer last week and this week I found a great deal on a reef ready tank. I can't return this one for an in-sump model. So I have to sell this one and buy an in-sump model.

This skimmer works! I woke up this morning and poured out half a gallon of skimmate after the sand storm I created last night. Easy to use and reliable.

$125.00. Will trade for a comparable in-sump model.

Carlii: I would consider trading a Marineland In Sump Series Pro 100. It came off my 75 that I converted to my discus tank (don't need skimmer for freshwater). It sits in the sump. Runs $180 new. It is probably a couple of years old. Was running great before I shut it down a couple of months ago. I got it because it is compact and would fit in a smaller cabinent (I have limited space). Rated up to a 100 gallon tank.

Look it up and let me know and I will take another peek at the specs on yours to double check it will work for me. I have the box and can send you pics if wanted, or you can come and pick it up and try it out.

No problem. It has worked flawless for me. As I have learned with skimmers, the water level needs to be constent (use ATO) to get best results. I have only owned a couple of skimmers and that was the key for me.

I am not sure I was even going to set up a empty tank I had where I would need a HOB, so see what offers you get and if you want to borrow it to see how it works, let me know.

Since yours is newer I could throw in a frag of that pinkish frag you liked. I broke off a section and it has about 30 polyps on it. Will post a pic to remind you what it looked like.

It also has a 1-2" leather on it. I also see some blue clove (?) is on it. I had the blue clove in my 75 for years and it just sat there. It seems to be spreading in my frag tank. If you don't like the blue clove you will want to pass on it........showed much brighter pink in my 75, but the two lights in my frag make it darker and more maroonish.....I personally like the bright pink, but not sure how it will look in yours?

Carl and I did not do a trade, so his is still for sale. I also added a new thread to sell mine. Both great deals!!!
