Reef Octopus NWB-110 thoughts?

hey guys im almost done with my stand and gonna work on the sump right after which is a 29g 30 inches long as most of ya know and right now i have a coralife super skimmer 220 and may in time upgrade that to a Reef Octopus NWB-110.....any of ya have comments on that skimmer, good or bad? and im not too sure how i'd place my current skimmer or that one when i get it...if i place the skimmer and return pump both in the same chamber rather then hanging on like it is now, how well would that work and one last think, if i did put both the skimmer and return pump in the same chamber how big should i make it or would it be cool to make it just big enough to fit both? thanks guys

re meassured it and i have like 28 inch clearrance but how wide is the collection cup if anyone knows?

I cant think of a reason I would do that. I would not want my skimmer and return pump in the same area because micro bubbles would get back into the tank. I would atleast want a bubble trap between them.

+ 1 on the bubble trap there isnt anything more annoying than microbubbles in your display. that is the reason i got rid of my needle wheel skimmer. i run an aqua c ev 180 on my 75 gallon tank and love it but i havent heard anything bad about octopus skimmers.

yup i figured in putting the skimmer with the drain line and just making that section larger....though anyone here in the club using that skimmer? or know much bout it?
