Reef Octopus SRO 2000int restart problems

Another thing here is to make sure that the screws on the front cover are screwed in all the way. I've heard of this happening to a couple of others, and once that was fixed then they were good to go.
 
Did you get the replacement in yet and back up running?

I received the replacement today. However, when I returned my pump I included the connector that goes between the volute and the air tube. I emailed coralvue to request they overnight that piece back to me so I can get this skimmer going. The new pump also came with a rubber foot that was torn in 2, so I requested a replacement. This latest issue isn't really coralvue's fault, but I hope they will be very responsive because my tank is suffering from being without this skimmer for almost 2 weeks now. Thanks for inquiring about the status of the pump!
 
Good news. Skimmer is up an running. CoralVue sent the needed parts overnight as promised. Hopefully this issue is done with. Thank you to Jeremy at Premium Aquatics and CoralVue for taking care of my skimmer problems.

Sorry I never responded to this. Yes, I received the invoice and shipped the pump out last week. I spoke with CoralVue and they mentioned it usually takes 2-3 days for them to either fix it or send a replacement. Hopefully I will get it back late this week; fingers crossed.

I will keep you posted here.

I received notice yesterday that they are sending a pump Fedex. It is expected to arrive tomorrow. Not sure if it's a new pump or a repair. Either way, it was a pretty quick turnaround.
