Reef Octopus ?

Hello reef central. I purchased a protein skimmer for the 75g, Classic reef octopus 100. I realized that my aquarium is a little too close to the wall to hob. Have any of you installed this skimmer under the tank using pvc. I really don't want to drain the aquarium down enough to move it but I will. I also plan on getting a sump/refugium soon for the tank and will try and install it under the tank with the skimmer as well.

Is it possible to put it on one of the sides until you get your sump

I considered that but I have glass tops so to avoid taking one side of the top off or cutting the plastic I'm gonna just move it. I just had a last minute idea. I wasn't sure if it could be done but I figured if it could someone on reef central has done it. Maybe when I get the sump sump I can figure out how to install the skimmer under the aquarium then. Thanks for the comments!

Good thing is figured out a way to have the canopy and the skimmer on. I'm just going to do a lil cutting on the back side of the canopy... it'll work!
