What is everybody recommending for main pumps these days? My currently planned needs would be:
Turnover needed is around 2500 gallons an hour. I like the idea of running two smaller pumps for the redundancy, but sometimes that is cost prohibitive.
I assume it/they will be external as the higher flow rates usually mean a bigger pump.
The pump(s) would be drawing water from the sump to return water to the main tank. Head should be less than 5 feet.
The pump(s) will be in the homes main living space, they need to be quite.
The purpose of the pump(s) is simply to return water from the sump to the tank. Other devices will be used for providing water circulation within the tank.
