Reef Ready Tank

Hiya, I'm a total newbie. I'm looking at getting a 120 gallon reef ready tank and I've looked at a few places (Neptune Aquatics in San Jose and Aquarium Concepts in Dublin). They seem to be super expensive. I've looked online at SCAquariums.com which look a bit more reasonable, but I have no idea about the quality of the tank. Any suggestions? Thanks!

If you don't mind a used tank, I'm preparing to put mine up for sale. It's a 48" x 24" x 24" 120 gallon glass tank with dual corner overflows. It includes a stand and canopy as well as a sump and plumbing. You're welcome to swing by and take a look. I'm in Alameda.

Rats!! I'm such a newbie, I can't PM you yet.

I am very interested in your tank. As a newbie, I'm super worried about leaks. How old is the tank and when was it last used?

The tank is about 10 years old. It's had water in it since last month. Now it's sitting in my garage waiting to be cleaned. The tank is made by All-Glass.

I have the perfect powerhouse skimmer for a large tank. Let me know if you're interested. Only seen 6 months of water

I'm not quite at the spot where I can buy equipment, I still need to get a tank and prepare a space (some cabinets need to come down).

Depending on where you're located, if you're able to come by, I can not only show you the old tank, but also my new one. It'll help you decide if you want to invest in a new tank or a used one. There really is a lot to consider!

SC Aquariums has good quality tanks. I have one and it's built well. There's also a thread on this forum for "SC Aquarium Owners" or something along those lines.
