This is how the tank is looking as of May 4, 2017. The only coral that looks stressed out one of my leathers. It's got little polyps that have a bright green neon color when they come out. I tested really high for nitrates and as soon as I get some water I'll be doing a water change and a deep cleaning in the built in back filter because it looms like it hasnt been cleaned like ever... Also I have a question about my UV sterilizer. I'm sure it's an Aqua Advantage 8 or 16 watt. What should I set my flow to on its pump? Their page recommends 214 gph for 90,000uw/cm2.

I would eliminate all mechanical filtration media. I only use it after water changes or if a problem arises I then remove it within 24hrs. I look at the media as a trap for detritus that build up fast only to release back to the water column just as fast.

Sorry can't help with UV but again I would only use it sparingly if I see a problem..

You really don't need the UV but I won't hurt anything. As far as the parameters are concerned, you should be at 400-450 Ca, 8-10 dKH and nitrates under 20. I had to look up the conversion from dKH to meq/l (most people here use dKH) and your number looks OK.
