+1 on the lemonpeel. It didn't touch my lps until it saw a labroides wrasse chomping down on my beautiful acans. The wrasse is now long gone, but so are all of my acans, sadly. It doesn't seem to bother any other lps, though.
All angels are a gamble, depends on if u don't mind losing a coral to a gamble. That's why I have a frag tank, if they nip, the coral moves, but I am a angel first coral second type a person.
I could not agree more,my Goldflake angel is the centerpiece of my tank.I have had it for over a year,feed once or twice a day and he has not bothered any of my many zoas !
It's not bizarre if the second tank was larger. Just like tangs, when an angel is in a tank too small they will not be as well behaved.
What is your tank size? They get much larger than dwarf angels. S michael recommends at least 75 g. In my opinion you should add 25 g to that.
Angels are grazers in nature, therefore, you will have incidental pecking on sps. Whether it does damage or not is debatable. That being said, you will have this with tangs also.
