Reef Safe Angels

I had a flame in my nano up until yesterday and he never touched any of my LPS, softies or zoas. hopefully i can find another with the same temperament when i get a new one

I have a 300 mixed reef with 5 angles. I have a coral beauty, midnight, flame, potters, and a bi color. They no not bother each other or the corals. I am going to be adding more in the future.

Oh the irony...

All I'm saying is that any genus outside of Genicanthus is a decent size risk, and I don't find that to be a blanket statement.

I agree with Peter. Other than Genicanthus, the odds are against. Not impossible, but improbable. Even those that are well behaved initially can change overnight into terrors.

Every angel is reefsafe, You see them on the reefs all the time :D

And this, of course, is totally true. But in "real life" they do nip but the damage in the general scheme of things is irrelevant. In a small environment, nipping becomes more relevant. I have two C. multicolor. One is a model citizen, one is a terror.

So true. I was at a friends house when his regal decided to eat a polyp and spit it out. There was no nipping, just a bite. It soon continued and had to be removed.

Agreed that any Centropyge sp. are a crap shoot when it comes to harassing corals. My CB was great for 8+ mos. and then killed the open brain.
