Reef Safe Eels???

Hi all,

I would love to get an eel for my aquarium.
But the thing is it has to be reef safe.

Are there any reef safe eels I can buy?

If yes, do you know their name and normally how much do they cost?

Many thanks :)

reef safe..

ghost eels/white ribbon eels
snow flake eels (they can be a toss up)
probably the safest of them all is a zebra eel...but they need a big tank ///imo at least a 90g and up...

the last 2 eels mentioned can tend to go after inverts possibly....they will definitely take out crabs and some have reported them to coexist with cleaner shrimp if the shrimp are in the tank before they are put in...

The biggest problem most people will encounter with eels is the rearrangement of corals and rocks.. M

My snow flake is about 2' long and on occasion I have had to put some corals back in place but it's rare...he is a true model citizen but be prepared to have a VERY good filtration system. they are a huge hit on your bioload... at least the snow flake or zebra would be.

Good luck,

Nick

Ok awesome thanks.

I might get a White Ribbon Eel than.

BTW while searching I found the Blue Ribbon Eel. Is this also reef safe?

Rockblast don`t buy a Blue Ribbon Eel if u don`t see it eating make sure that the eel is eating that`s all :) ,BTW reef safe eel don`t exist some will eat u shrimps some crabs and fish u can find fish safe eels but inverts are in danger good luck
