Can anyone give me some good reef safe fish for 125 gallon long tank. ..I love tangs but everyone I get turned out so mean. ..right now I only have 2 clowns a snowflake and black. ..a starry blenny. ..a goby can't remember which one) an arrow crab and 5 cleaner shrimp. I really want bright color full fish that are hearty

Arrow crab can get large (6 - 10 inches) and predatory to shrimp and slow moving fish. They are opportunistic feeders and will feed on some corals if insufficient food is present.

Royal Gramma and Line Spot Flasher Wrasse are a couple examples of colorful fish.

There are less aggressive tangs out there. Blue Regals tend to be docile. My Purple Tang is the boss of my tank but it doesn't really mess with anybody. It just wants to be the first guy to get the nori. Is that too much to ask, really?

I have a Midas Blenny and I love those fish. Great personality. Really captivating movement (swims like an eel moves). Eats anything I put in the tank. He's usually the one that tries to beat the Purple Tang to the nori... it's funny to watch. Anthias are really peaceful and colorful and with a tank your size and your current bio load, you can easily get 5 or 7. If you do, try to get all females and you'll need to add them all at once. The most dominant will turn into a male and the rest will be it's harem. Whatever number you get, be sure that it's odd. If you get an even number they will shun/kill one (in most cases). They are good schoaling fish but it's hard to really get them to school without a bigger fish in there (a tang might do the trick). Pretty docile and hardy too.

Thanks guys will look into those. .. my yellow tang was my favorite but he kept going after my clowns which are super active and they started hiding all the time maybe I will look into another tang.

+1 on the Midas blenny. Absolutely gorgeous fish. Mine loves to shoal with my harem of female lyretail anthias. Have you tried one of the smaller bristletooth tangs (genus Ctenochaetus)? I have a Tomini tang and he is a very upstanding citizen. Not the most beautiful of the tangs but nice size for a medium size tang and very peaceful.

I have in my 125g

-(2) B&W O. Clowns
-(1) Blue Damsel
-(1) Neon Dottyback (Luckily really peaceful, and my fav!)

Plan to add:
-(1) Orange Shoulder Tang
-(3) Midget Acars Chromis OR (3) Blue Reef Chromis

I dissuaded myself from choosing Anthias for their feeding needs, as I like to feed once a day (One day frozen foods, one day veggies)
