reef safe paint for acrylic?

Is there a reef safe paint that works on acrylic? I picked up a used lifereef overflow with a blue skimmer box. My tank has a black back and I put the overflow on to see what it looked like and that blue skimmer box looks horrible with the black back tank. Any thoughts or recommendations welcome.

I think any two-part marine epoxy paint will work given it has ample time to cure. They use this stuff to paint the hulls of ships. Or the Krylon Fusion paint made for plastic. Give water ever you use ample time to cure and let it soak in water after it's cured to let anything leach out and you should be safe.

I used krylon fusion on some acrylic that i glued to the inside of my tank to hide the plumbing for my external overflow. Going on a year now and no probs at all.

I asked this same question a couple of weeks ago and most people said they used Krylon Fusion. Works for plastics with little to no prep work. I painted some white eggcrate black and am using it for a live rock support rack in the tank. The rock is still cycling so I haven't had a chance to add any other critters (fish or inverts). One thing I did was let the paint go through the full 7 day cure period (per the directions) prio to sticking it in my tank. Good luck!
