reef safe?

I am planning to buy a pom pom crab, and i have read mixed emotions about the crab being reef safe? Does anyone have experience with them? or if they have success in their reef tank?

my rule of thumb is stay away from all crabs. just my 2 cents but ive seen several different crabs pick at corals. snails are a better bet for a cleaning crew.

I am not using him specifically for clean up crew! I just love them so i want him!
