Thanks, just wanted to get a general idea about the place.

I appreciate it

It is really a cool place. Todd has all sorts of stuff there! He is also teamed up with OSU on a research project I think.
He has frags of everything, fish, rock, and equipment.
I took a friend not long ago and she was blown awayby how cool it was. She always wants to go back to just look around.

The 900g reef tank is AMAZING! On a side note phishy business on the other hand looked absolutely horrible, dead fish in tanks, corals dying, aiptasia everywhere and some seriously overpriced livestock

I've been too many LFS and Phishy business ranks near the top as being one of the best. The livestock always seems healthy and coral prices are atleast 30% cheaper than the others. You must have visited on a really bad day.

Phishy had 1 purple tang for 250$, not a great price and two Quoyi parrotfish one large for 125$ and a smaller one for 100$ both good prices and were sold. I'm just saying everyone says phishy is the best place and I wasn't impressed in the least. Would compare it to Gerber near dayton. Reef Systems for me when I make the hr trip to Cbus.

I'll have to check it out sometime. I think most all LFS are priced to high on corals. That's what frag swaps are for.

I go to both, but honestly that guy in Gahanna is where I usually go for nice frags of acans, lps and especially sps. I try to resist going, cause I always leave with empty pockets:lol:

I like Todd, has tons of coral and did I mention the 900g reef tank!? When I setup my new tank I will be driving there to buy the Fiji shelf and tonga branch base rock without question. I get most all coral from friends in the hobby

Reef Systems is a great place to go and Todd always has a good selection.

I second this! Great selection, great prices and vary friendly! My favorite supplier in central Ohio.

There is not a single saltwater fish/reef store anywhere in central ohio that can compare with phishys. Their staff is second to none and will go above and beyond for this hobby. Was just at RS for the fist time on maybe a year and everything was bleached white from the LEDs.

I've been to both. It made me appreciate Premium Aquatics even more.

Phisphy was nice but expensive. Reef systems was fair.

"Reef Systems Coral Farm"... I thought at first this was some new breeding device. But nothing wrong with another good LFS.
