The lionfish won't like a lot of flow.

Those are aggressive fish, but they rarely attack other fish. Sohals will openly go after other fish - especially as they grow. None of those other fish will do that. There are all different definitions for "aggressive." I would avoid the sohal and pick a different tang.

It looks like you are doing your homework, so keep it up so that you know what you are getting in to.
 
Right on, I just got a early birthday present from the wife......a 4" Niger!! Awesome fish, looks great, and not a bad fish for one of the first to go in ( I hope). Get some pictures of him soon.
 
I have a dogface ouffer that isn't bothering my cabbage, kenya, xenia. He has instant radar for shrooms, rics, and zoos. He sleeps in my anethellia and also will eat it. My huma and bird wrasse don't touch corals but eat snails and crabs. None have touched my coral banded shrimp and the puffer is often right next to it but never aggressive towards it. Plans to test more corals in the future.
